What we process and why

• Contact form: name, email address, message and service interest. Purpose: reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Blog comments: name, text and, optionally, email address. Purpose: publish and moderate comments. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
• Aggregate metrics: a pseudonymous identifier derived from the IP address to count visits and likes without cookies. Legal basis: legitimate interest in measuring site usage (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Commercial communications, only if you expressly opt in: email address. Legal basis: consent, withdrawable at any time.

How long we keep it

• Contact enquiries: 12 months from the last contact, unless a contract exists.
• Comments: while the article is published, or until you request deletion.
• Metrics: 12 months.

Recipients and processors

We do not share data with third parties for advertising. There is no third-party analytics or pixel tracking.

• Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, D1 database and KV storage (USA, EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses).
• Resend, Inc. — transactional email delivery (USA, standard contractual clauses).
• Mailjet SAS — fallback email delivery (France, within the EEA).

International transfers

Some providers are located outside the EEA. They rely on adequacy decisions or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses (Art. 45 and 46 GDPR).

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to [email protected]. We will reply within one month. You may lodge a complaint with the CNPD (Portugal, www.cnpd.pt) or the AEPD (Spain, www.aepd.es).

Security

We use HTTPS, access control on the administration panel and data minimisation.

Minors

This site is not aimed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with its update date.
